Brunsmeer Awareness Football Club run free weekly football sessions that are mental health friendly. It’s a ‘turn up and play’ session, so you don’t need to book.
They welcome people from all backgrounds and all levels of fitness and ability, whether you’ve played in the past or the game is new to you.
They run two sessions each week, one for men and one for women.
The Brunsmeer Awareness FC men’s session is on a Tuesday afternoon at Goodwin Sports Centre, 1.30pm – 3pm.
Sessions include a kick about and skills training, and they have encouraged some of their members to start working towards a Level 1 Coaching Certificate.
Please note: events may not be running on bank holidays and over the Christmas period. Please double check with the organiser (before attending) if you are unsure.
