Resources
We’ve put together a range of supportive information resources on different topics, which you can access through this section. You can find these pages in the links on this page, and we’ve also explained a bit about the different pages below:
- Bereavement support: we recognise that although grief is not a mental health problem in itself, it has a massive impact on our mental health. This section details the support available in Sheffield for bereaved people.
- Learning disabilities – your health: a page about physical health, especially designed in partnership with people with learning disabilities. This section also links to information about health for autistic people, and information for GPs and health professionals on supporting people with learning disabilities and autism.
- Mental health services – explained: we understand that mental health services are complicated, and it can take time for all of us to find the right help and support. This page explains how to get help, what to expect, what to do while you are waiting and what to do if it’s not working.
- Wellbeing: this page explains some really helpful ideas around ‘wellbeing’, especially focusing on explaining the ‘5 ways to wellbeing’
