This support is carried out either by senior caseworkers or trained volunteer caseworkers who are supported by volunteer befrienders. Support can last from a few months to a few years, depending on the need.

Education and employment
Snowdrop empower survivors to live independently and give hope for the future. They do this by providing weekly English Classes from Hope English School with onsite childcare. They also have a partnership with the Co-op’s Bright Future Programme to offer paid work-experience opportunities to survivors.
Community activities
Snowdrop train activity volunteers to provide opportunities for survivors to build friendships in the community and access life skills and hobbies in a safe and welcoming environment. Volunteers facilitate this through weekly community activities as well as one-off projects, day trips and cultural celebrations.
Renovations
When survivors are provided with permanent housing by the council, Snowdrop help turn this house into a home through their renovation program. The renovation process includes cleaning, painting, decorating and sourcing furniture; the survivor is always at the heart of any decisions made about the property, from choosing the paint to the colour of the bedding.
Training and consultancy
Snowdrop’s extensive training is delivered by professionals in the field of anti-trafficking. Snowdrop train all their own volunteers and provide tailored training and consultancy for other organisations to suit their needs.
