The NHS Relationship and Sexual Service is for adults who are experiencing relationship difficulties or sexual problems. Often these may relate to the mental and emotional aspects of sexuality or have underlying psychological causes.
This may include: erectile dysfunction, premature or delayed ejaculation, difficulties with arousal (both male and female), concerns about sexual desire, low libido, genital or sexual pain or difficulties with penetration.
The service offers assessment, diagnosis, treatment and therapeutic programmes for individuals and couples. Treatments offered include specialist psychotherapy, brief supportive therapy, and behavioural programmes for men, women and couples.
They take referrals from GP’s and NHS Professionals only and they must be submitted on a letterhead.
