Recovery Service (North and South) provides multi-disciplinary care to people with complex mental health issues who are registered with a GP practice in Sheffield. It aims to promote an optimum level of recovery, independence, and social inclusion for each individual.
They deliver broad levels of treatment and support which is tailored to the individual needs of each service user and what support they need most.  The support offered can broadly be described under three categories, which includes care for:
- Psychotic disorders
- Non-psychotic disorders
- Personality disorders
All of the support provided will be based on an individual’s needs and people should be fully involved in deciding what will work best for them. They review care plans regularly with person involved and anyone else they want involved in their care, such as family, loved one or carer.
They work closely with the Home Treatment Team who provide short-term support at home to avoid admission to hospital.
