Men Up North is a men’s talking and support group. Their mission is to normalise honest conversations on male mental health and masculinity in the North of England.

As well as one off events, group coaching sessions and a support network called Dads in Business, they provide an informal space for men to get together and support each other and grow their community. The groups are small groups, open to new people and led by volunteers. They currently meet:

  • On the first Wednesday of the month at 108 The Moor, 7-9pm
  • On the third Wednesday of the month at 108 The Moor, 7-9pm
  • On most Sundays (weather permitting) at Grimesthorpe Allotment, 12-3pm

Men Up North Meetups are a safe space for men to have honest, open, non-judgmental discussions related to mental health. Please note, this is not group therapy.

They also run intermittent nature walks, cycling, foraging, bushcraft and mindful calligraphy sessions. New activities are added based on the requests of the community.

Check on their Facebook page for upcoming activities.

Covid update 25/10/21: Most services continue under covid-safe conditions but may be experiencing changes to how or when they deliver their service. Contact Men Up North directly for the latest information.
