The British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) offers information, treatment and support to women and men in relation to:
- unplanned pregnancy
- pregnancy testing
- abortion
- contraception, including emergency contraception (such as the “morning after” pill)
- vasectomy
- sterilisation
- STI testing and treatment
Most abortion treatment is covered by the NHS. BPAS also offers a counselling service before and after abortions, available through local centres.
