No Panic Sheffield run support groups based on CBT techniques and peer support. The groups aim to help people find ways of managing their anxiety and to recover from social anxiety, panic attacks, general anxiety disorder (GAD), OCD, phobias, agoraphobia and PTSD. Those with depression and low mood are also welcome to come. Family members and carers can also attend.
The groups are run by trained volunteer facilitators and usually meet weekly on Wednesday evenings (6.30 – 8.30pm) and Thursday mornings (10am – 12noon) at the Quaker Meeting House in Sheffield city centre. Group members are welcome to attend either their Thursday or their Wednesday group.
The groups are free (a small donation is welcome to help cover running costs of renting a room).
The groups are open and more information is listed on the website. If you would like to come to a group please email or call them.
Please note: events may not be running on bank holidays and over the Christmas period. Please double check with the organiser (before attending) if you are unsure.
